Alexis Shows Us How to Make Dreamy Transitional and Whimsical Christmas Wreaths

With Christmas just around the corner, it's time to start thinking about decorating your home. This year, ditch the store-bought decorations in favor of something unique you can make yourself. And this holiday, we brought the perfect person to show you how. Meet our new friend Alexis Cardona, Designer and owner of AVC Design & Decor based in New Jersey. Watch as she walks us through creating a Winter Wonderland wreath that will last long after Santa has come and gone. Grab some Bindle & Brass products and get started!

In the video, Alexis starts with a plain old faux wreath. Cost savings tip: we've seen these all over thrift stores. Next, she layers pine needle sprays for fullness and texture. Once her base is set, she alternates white berries and green eucalyptus stems to give it movement. Pussy willow and sedum in white and purple are added for color and fullness. Now comes the icing on the wreath, metallic platinum, white tip, opal sparkle, and cinnamon-scented pinecones. To finish it off, she adds a bit of whimsy with opal cane circles and intricate snowflakes.

Didn't Alexis create the most dreamy and unique wreath for your holiday decor or even the perfect gift? And because we saw how talented she was at creating a masterpiece, we asked her what other ideas were up her sleeve. Here's a little teaser of what's to come.

In this candy topped wreath, you will feel like you're in a Christmas dreamland! Alexis used an old wreath for her base and then included a few of our favorite things: metallic red, opal-tipped, and red berry Sorbus. The sedum stem in white compliments the candy baubles for the perfect finishing touch. This wreath is sure to bring holiday cheer to any home!

Alexis is a talented designer who has created lovely storefronts, dreamy weddings, and other beautiful designs. Don't believe us?
