Laura Begley Shows Us How to Achieve the Perfect DIY Fall Home Aesthetic

It’s almost that time! The fall season is approaching, and we are getting antsy to add that cozy autumn aesthetic to our homes. Luckily with the help of our good friend, Laura Begley, her creative inspiration and DIY know-how will give us all a blueprint to decorate our homes for the season. She used four simple dried naturals, a vintage frame, and some ribbon to quickly transform her home from summer to fall. Want to create with her? Let’s get started!

You can see in the image above how she chose to use our Dried Mango Oak Leaves as the statement piece to connect all of her fall decors throughout her home. Whether arranged in a tarnished metal goblet, a vintage ceramic pitcher, or on a wooden frame wreath, it gives her living room a cohesive look. In addition, the warm tone of the leaves suddenly brings a crisp autumn aroma to the air. Watch the reel below to see how it all came together!

This wooden vintage frame transformed into a wreath is quite the magnum opus! It has all the DIY, thrifted, fall, and classic vibes. The oak leaves laid perfectly as the base, the pinecones as the primary statement pieces, dried goldbeard wheat as the accents, and dried baby’s breath as the intricate filler detail. Laura picked the perfect ribbon to top off the wreath. Black and moody tones are so in right now. Solid black stands out; quite an attractive choice. Watch the reel below for the steps to make the fall frame wreath.

Laura’s corner shelf in her dining room is iconic. She regularly posts photos of it during the different seasons to show her followers how she changes it throughout the year. For this upcoming fall time, she stuck with neutral colors, no patterns, and a total of 6 different elements: a vintage sign, amber glass bottles, white ceramic dishes, gourds, a brass bowl, and dried goldbeard wheat. It turned out to be a simple yet classically beautiful display!

Fall isn’t quite here yet, but we thought we’d get a jump on things with the help of the fantastic Laura. She always provides us with inspirational content. And wait, she’s not done yet. She’ll be back soon with some Christmas decor ideas, and we can’t wait! So here’s a hint: there will be lots of greenery! Make sure to follow her Instagram and TikTok to see what else she’s up to in the meantime.
