Unlock Your Western Cowgirl Dream Wedding Day With Britt Newland
Britt Newland, our fantastic wedding bestie, is back with another astonishingly beautiful dried natural display! And this time, she went even more extravagant and created something so swoon-worthy you will have to pick your jaw up off the floor. Tapping into her country roots, Britt made this exquisite vintage locker filled with dried blooms. A wedding backdrop every guest will be vying to pose in front of. A colorful explosion of dried naturals that includes baby's breath, phalaris, lavender, willow eucalyptus, silver dollar eucalyptus, true blue eucalyptus, and palm fans. What we find most attention-grabbing is how smoothly she blended each element to make one floral sculpture. Britt is, without a doubt, full of unique talent that continues to inspire us in all things wedding and florals.
In addition to the vintage locker, she intricately arranged a colorful bouquet for the country bride consisting of solely dried naturals. To match the warm tones of the barn, she chose a base of muted orange baby's breath and popped in statement lavenders and pinks to add detail and balance to the bouquet.
Another thing Britt perfected in her arrangement was the idea of movement. The fluid movement of the eucalyptus branches directs the eye of the viewer from one corner to the next. Instead of being stagnant, it is now full of life and motion. So, to offset the fluffy cloud-like nature of the baby's breath and the structure of palm fans, she blended various types of silver dollar, willow, and true blue eucalyptus. It also served as a neutral base to start her structure off, where then she built on it with color.
Britt's attention to detail is excellent, from the florals to the lockers, the makeup to the attire. This project remained cohesive and will undoubtedly inspire the soon-to-be brides planning their upcoming country wedding.
We knew Britt was the woman we wanted to work with to create a new and inspirational wedding look for our followers! Based on her previous pampas grass arrangement for Valentine's Day she made for us, there was no doubt in our mind that this project would be beautiful. Doesn't this vintage locker floral arrangement make you want to get married tomorrow or have a second wedding all over again?
Britt Newland dreams big and executes to perfection. She is a trailblazer in the wedding industry, and we hope these vintage lockers inspire you as much as they have us!
