How to Galentine Party for a Girls Valentine’s Day Celebration

Valentine's Day is coming up, and whether you have a special someone to celebrate with or not, that doesn't mean you can't have a great time! This year, why not host your own mini-version of the holiday with all your closest girlfriends? Keep reading for everything you need to know about throwing the perfect Galentine's party!

The Table

Create a flowing ethereal movement to the table using gauzy fabric. Here we used muslin on hand, but you could create the same draping effect if you had a sheer curtain or even a white sheet. Topping this flow with rose gold candlesticks, pink vases (we found these LOVE ones to show our ladies how we feel), and even a personalized wreath gives an aura of a cloud below.

The Touches

Personal touches are always a hit. Compose a hand-crafted card for each of your girls out of dried naturals. Continue the theme by decorating scented brooms they can take home and filling vases with the same dried naturals. This will create a cohesive look throughout the table and make everyone feel special.

The Libations

Have appetizers and a unique concoction waiting on the bar cart for the girls when they arrive. Deck it out with hearts, a little love potion, and beautiful faux orchids to add the signature Valentine's colors. Don't forget a mirror for checking makeup for the memories.

The Memories

Mark the day with a beautiful photo booth to keep the memory of the delightful girls' day. We recreated our New Years' balloon garland by changing the color of balloons and carried over the dried naturals from the table to fill in the gaps connecting the two. We also included a cozy corner with comfortable seating to wait for your candid moment.

A Galentine's party is a great way to get your girlfriends together outside of work, school, or family obligations. It doesn't matter if they're single or taken—everyone deserves a little love on Valentine's Day. All you need are some creative DIY ideas and inspiration.
